19 YEARS!!!!
This picture is Chris and I, 19 years ago - WOW - that sounds really weird to say. It was a couple days before our wedding and some family and friends had arrived so we went out to this awesome restaurant for dinner. On October 3 - 19 years ago - we were married. It was the wedding I dreamed of and we had an awesome week leading up to it. Today, Chris and I celebrated our anniversary (it's really tomorrow but Tuesday are known as "Trying Tuesdays" around here as everyone, except me, has places to be until all hours of the evening - so a celebration would be difficult to fit into the day) I can't believe it has been 19 years. It really doesn't feel like that long. We have had some amazing days, trying days, tearful days, happy days, blessed days, frustrating days, sad days, awesome days, miracle days, lonely days, busy days, lazy days, FUN days, reflective days and down right great days. We have had 4 incredible daughters, moved to 4 different places, gone on some awesome trips, experienced the loss of precious friends, ministered together, competed for just about anything, made many friends, loved, cried, said good-bye (way to many times), laughed and loved some more. Despite the tough times, learning times, growing times - I am blessed to be able to experience life with Chris - the love of my life!!!!!! Let's keep on experiencing life together (and sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed every now and then!)
